David C. Jordan, beloved husband, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on the evening of Saturday, October 18, 2025, surrounded by loved ones at Fairview Hospital. He was 67.
David was the devoted husband of the late Patricia Jordan (née Meade), and the cherished son of Ann Jordan (née Votg) and Charles Jordan.
He was a loving brother to the late Ann Christen Smith (née Welles) (Walley), Kathy Sullivan (née Welles) (the late Jack), Donald Welles, the late Donna Welles, Denise Welles, Robert Welles (Anna Maria), James Jordan (Elaina), and Jacquelyn Jordan.
David was a proud and loving uncle to Cindy, Sandy, the late Sherri, John, Joe, Sharene, Shawna, Sarah, Robert, Rosario, Spencer, Sydney, Jake, Jaime, and many more nieces and nephews who held a special place in his heart. He loved them as his own.
A proud patriot, David served honorably in the United States Army. After his military service, he continued his dedication to hard work as a skilled diesel mechanic with BFI and later with the City of Parma.
David was a passionate fan of The Beatles, Pink Floyd, and the Cleveland Browns. He was a gifted artist and painter, a true connoisseur of rock 'n' roll, and someone who embraced life fully. He enjoyed swimming, traveling, boating, fishing, cooking, and had a deep appreciation for skyscrapers and aviation.
Above all, David will be remembered for the love he shared with his family and the joy he found in being surrounded by those he cared for most.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM
at Donlon Funeral Home, 15408 Triskett Rd. Cleveland, OH 44111.
David’s life was a testament to love, loyalty, laughter and Rock n Roll. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
