BRENDA PIERCE (nee Brickman), age 85, passed away peacefully on September 8, 2025, in North Royalton, OH. She was a devoted mother of Rick (Janice), Sandy (Tom,deceased), and Tim (Brandi); cherished grandmother of Chase, Nichole, Micah, Blake and Blaine; adored sister of Leonard Jr. (deceased) (Joan, deceased), Bea (deceased)(Ed, deceased), Sr. Alice (OSU), George (deceased) (Bev), Carol (Howard), Sr. Dianne(OSU), Barbara (Jack, deceased), David (Marsha), Neal (Andy), and Bruce (Lynne); and beloved daughter of the late Leonard Sr. and Dorothy (nee Rees).
Brenda’s greatest joy revolved around her family and faith. She was blessed to be one of eleven children in a loving and faithful family. Brenda has always had a special bond with all her brothers and sisters, especially with her twin sister, Barbara, who have an eternal bond that thrived over eight decades. Brenda instilled the same passion of the importance of family and faith to her children and grandchildren; this is her true legacy.
Brenda worked for several years at the North Royalton Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles, where she was locally known as “the nicest lady at the BMV.” After retirement, Brenda dedicated her time to what she loved doing most: spending quality time with family and friends. Brenda’s favorite memories include family summer vacations, family reunions, weekend cookouts, family holiday celebrations, family dinners, and family puzzle night.
Brenda brought her family together as much as life would allow and provided love and support every step of the way.
Brenda’s faith was paramount and was a devout parishioner in the St. Collete Catholic Church parish. Her faith called her to volunteer at the Sisters of Charity Regina Health Center sharing her love and compassion with residents through a warm smile, a heartfelt touch and kind conversation; Brenda made a difference wherever she could.
Brenda leaves behind a legacy unmatched in its love and kindness. Her infectious laugh, once brightening every room, may no longer ring out, but it echoes forever in our hearts. And the lessons she shared—of compassion, generosity, and resilience—will continue to guide all who knew her.
Family will receive family and friends to pay tribute to and to celebrate the life of Brenda with a visitation on September 23, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass at 11:00 a.m. at the St. Collete Catholic Church, 330 West 130th , Brunswick, OH 44212. Light refreshments will be served after Mass.
