Robert Charles Sisley, age 72, passed away peacefully on November 1, 2026. Born on March 22, 1954, Bob was preceded in death by his loving parents, Charles and Suzanne “Kathy” Sisley; his brother, David; and his beloved niece, Morgan. Bob is survived by his daughter, Elizabeth Sisley-Novak (Nicholas), and his son, Charles Sisley (Julia). He was a proud grandfather to Benjamin and Jonah, who he often joked had “stole his handsomeness.”
He is also survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Jean Sisley, and his nephews, Derek and Logan. Bob was dearly loved by his friends, many of whom he was fortunate to have known for most of his life.
An avid reader, Bob found joy in a good book and in writing his own short stories. He also enjoyed tending to his garden and cheering on his hometown favorites, the Cleveland Guardians.
Bob will be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends, his pride in his children and grandchildren, and the memories he leaves behind with all who knew him.
Funeral Mass Tuesday Nov. 10th at 11AM at Our Lady of Angels Church. Family will receive friends at Donlon Funeral Home 15408 Triskett Rd. Cleve., on Monday 4-7PM. Interment Private. PLEASE MEET AT THE CHURCH.
