Dr. Lenore Heller, age 83, of Lakewood Ohio, died peacefully on August 27th at Ames Family Hospice House with her children by her side. She is preceded by parents Louis and Adele Rindner, as well as sisters Sandy Rindner, Shellie Barer, and Robin Romeo. She is survived by loving son Jeff Heller and devoted daughter-in-law Amber Heller, cherished grandchildren Ellie, Owen, and Lucy, sister Barbara Glassman, nieces Susan Brill and Sarah Glassman-Vivas, and nephews Josh Brill and Michael Glassman.
Dr. Heller earned her PhD in Psychology from St. John's University in 1997, was the Assistant Dean at The Gordon Derner Institute for Advanced Psychological Services from 2000-2008, and maintained a decades-long private practice in both New York and Ohio where she helped countless patients to live their lives to the fullest.
Teacher, mentor, and cherished friend to many, Dr. Heller left an impact everywhere she went and will not soon be forgotten. A private celebration of life will be held. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to The Lakewood Foundation or your charity of choice.
