Robert Eugene Pawson Jr., age 73, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026.
Born on April 7, 1953, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Bob was the son of the late Robert Eugene Pawson Sr. and Marlowe Miller Pawson.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 44 years, Susan Evans Pawson; his daughter, Tara Jean Miller (Patrick); his son, Robert Eugene Pawson III; and his daughter, Samantha Marlowe Heroux (Jeremy). He was a proud grandfather to Tristan, Kellan, and Logan, who brought him immense joy.
He is also survived by his brothers, William Pawson (Mary Ann) and Barrett Pawson (Toni); his sisters-in-law, Stacey Evans (Kenny) and Kim Mlady (Ron); and his brother-in-law, David Evans (Ericko). Bob was dearly loved by many nieces and nephews who always knew they could count on their Uncle Bob.
Bob had a passion for life and never liked to sit still. He enjoyed playing softball, butterfly hunting, fishing, and cheering on the Cleveland Cavaliers—at least some of the time. He loved good food, spending time outdoors, and taking walks with his beloved dog, Stickeen. Bob was always willing to lend a hand, often dropping whatever he was doing to help family, friends, or neighbors. His generous spirit, strong work ethic, and willingness to help others defined the way he lived.
Bob truly enjoyed life to the fullest. His smile, laughter, and loving presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
